AP FAQs

1. My school AP teacher doesn't follow your pacing. What should I do?

Your individual tutoring schedule will be made to match you current school teachers teaching pace. However, some teachers, especially new teachers, do not have a teaching schedule. In this case, I will create a schedule with your input.

No, I cannot guarantee a 5; however, I will help you do your best to get a score you're satisfied with.

Yes, but you will need to pay for the skipped class. If you notify a week in advance, then you will be not charged. If this is a regular habit, it is better that you cancel lessons.

4. Is homework expected?

No, not usually. DBQs and LEQs will be typically finished during class.

5. Can you help me with my school's AP homework?

I can't do your homework or help you with it, but I can help you get to a place with AP World so that you're able to do your homework.

6. Why do you start with SAQ's? I want to study the DBQ's first.

The best way to learn AP World History writing is to start with the understanding that the LEQ and DBQ are only longer and more complex SAQs. The SAQ is designed by AP College Board to be the foundation of LEQ and DBQ. Therefore, in order to master the LEQ and DBQ, the SAQ must be first understood.
